June 21st - Robert Randolph

A virtuoso on the pedal steel guitar, Robert Randolph jumped from spiritual to secular music and found an audience among blues fans, roots rock aficionados, and jam band followers with his fiery, passionate instrumental work and heartfelt music.

 

Robert and his band are on tour all summer long with Trombone Shorty and the legendary Mavis Staples.  Catch Robert at our outdoor summer series before he performs at Ocean’s Calling in Ocean City MD in the Fall!

June 28th - Joe Samba

One of the best kept secretes out of the East Coast, boasting a vocal range unmatched by his peers, coupled with phenomenal guitar playing and top notch song writing, Joe Samba is well on his way to becoming a household name!

July 5th - The Heavy Heavy

Creating the kind of unfettered rock-and-roll that warps time and place, immediately pulling the audience into a euphoric fugue state with its own sun-soaked atmosphere.  Led by Will Turner and Georgie Fuller, the UK-based band is currently touring on their glorious EP Life and Life Only. 

The band is on tour with the likes of The Revivalists, The Head and The Heart, playing festivals all over the world and coming to our stage in Lewes!  Catch them before Newport Folk Fest. Here they are recently on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

July 12th - Mo Lowda & The Humble

Indie rock band hailing from nearby Philadelphia, Firefly Music Festival Alums, and really having a moment with the recent release of their fourth LP, self-tilted and released March 3, 2023 with FIVE singles leading up to the release!  Since their debut album in 2013, they’ve vastly expanded the sonic exploration of their recorded material.  A truly energetic live show with rave reviews from across the country.  Join us for great night of music!

July 19th - The Vegabonds

Nashville-based alternative southern rock band – The Vegabonds got their start in Alabama in 2009 playing the college circuit across the Southeastern United States.  They have logged more than 400,000 miles over their last 10 years touring and promise to deliver a great live performance with powerhouse guitar riffs and impactful songwriting night after night.  With a sound reminiscent of Tom Petty mixed with the grit and twang of the Allman Brothers Band, these guy are a must see in Lewes this summer!

July 26th - George Porter Jr. & The Runnin' Pardners

One of the original founding members of The Meters and a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient, George Porter Jr will grace our stage in Lewes Delaware this Summer! George Porter Jr has had storied career that started in the 60’s and 70’s with legendary New Orleans’ fund band The Meters.
Today, touring all over the world and making his way to Lewes – join us in honoring a true music icon!

August 2nd  - The Amish Outlaws

If you are reading this… You most likely know who the Amish Outlaws are and what they are all about!  Composed of ex-Amish and honorary Amish musicians – they are the ever popular cover band that will be making their return to the stage in Lewes!  This show WILL SELL OUT!

August 9th - Sam Burchfield & The Scoundrels

Raised in the foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains of South Carolina, Sam Burchfield was brought up on Appalachian music: folk, gospel, country and southern soul.  A previous American Idol contestant, Sam’s latest record ‘Scoundrel’ begins a new saga.  Catch Sam Burchfield & The Scoundrels (aptly named) on tour this summer in Lewes!

August 16th - Danielle Ponder

American soul singer Danielle Ponder is both empowering and a powerhouse. In 2020, NPR described her music as anthemic while compassionate; soulful, while bold and strong. She reverberates with a goosebump-inducing passion,." For 5 years, Danielle worked as a public defender where she provided criminal defense to the indigent community. While working as a public defender, Danielle also toured Europe and scored an opening spot with George Clinton. In 2018, after five years as a public defender, she made the gutsy decision to pursue her No.1 passion -- music. In 2021, Danielle performed at the Newport Jazz Festival where her performance was hailed as one of the stand out performances of the event. 2022 has been a banner year for Danielle with appearances on Late Night with Seth Meyers, CBS This Morning, tours with Marcus Mumford, Amos Lee, St. Paul and the Broken Bones and Leon Bridges.

August 23rd - Dumpstaphunk

We close the series out with a legendary New Orleans funk, jam band, with Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk.  Over the past 17 years, Dumpstaphunk has earned a reputation as the most well regarded, next generation New Orleans live powerhouses.  Their live shows attract sit-ins from legends like Carlos Santana, Bob Weir, Trombone Shorty, members of Phish, and Dave Matthews Band amongst many others.  Don’t miss this show – it will be a great performance to close out our amazing series in Lewes!
